Arlington, VA – The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission has scheduled the Data Workshop for the upcoming red drum benchmark stock assessment. The Workshop will be conducted October 14-17, 2014 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 5265 International Boulevard, North Charleston, South Carolina. As the first step in the assessment process, the Data Workshop will gather and review all available data sets, including, but not limited to, data on growth, maturation, migration, genetics, stock enhancement, tagging, recruitment, natural mortality, and abundance/biomass.
