The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission has found the State of New Jersey out of compliance with the mandatory management measures in Addendum XXVIII to the Interstate Fishery Management Plan for Summer Flounder, Scup, and Black Sea Bass. The Commission will notify the Secretaries of Commerce and the Interior of its finding.

This Addendum establishes new start and end dates for the scup commercial quota periods.

The Summer Flounder, Scup and Black Sea Bass Management Board of the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission convened in the Edison Ballroom of the Westin Hotel, Alexandria, Virginia, May 10, 2017, and was called to order at 1:05 o’clock p.m. by Chairman Michael Luisi.
