The Area 1A Atlantic herring fishery will move to zero landing days beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, December 24 through December 31, 2025, as specified by the days out measures set for the Area 1A fishery this month.

While landing days are set at zero, harvesters are prohibited from landing more than 2,000 pounds of Atlantic herring per trip from Area 1A.
