Fisheries Biologist – Marine Mammal Outreach and Coordination

Working directly with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Bureau of Marine Fisheries (BMF), the Fisheries Biologist will be responsible for achieving the priorities and objectives established in a federally funded project proposal, including coordinating with state and regional partners; outreach and education; contributing to reviews of internal and external documentation regarding threatened and endangered species; and providing technical support to marine mammal research projects and other regional initiatives. The position is based in southern New Jersey but will require interaction and collaboration with partners throughout the New England and MidAtlantic region.
