Information:Email: kanstead@asmfc.org The QA/QC Fish Ageing Workshop is an annual meeting where representatives from ageing labs along the Atlantic coast review age samples and provide information on the consistency of age readings for ASMFC species. The QA/QC group has developed a collection of at least 20 samples from 14 species and selects several species from the collection to evaluate each year. This year the group will review age samples from tautog, black sea bass, bluefish, scup, red drum, cobia, and weakfish. A report will be available following the workshop.
