Description: In February, the South Atlantic State/Federal Fisheries Management Board initiated an addendum to address sector allocation in the cobia fishery with respect to the updated population estimates from the SEDAR 58 stock assessment. This addendum will also reconsider de minimis measures. A draft document with management options is being developed by the Cobia Plan Development Team. As part of this process, the AP will meet via webinar/conference call to review the draft options and provide edits prior to their consideration for public comment.
