The Atlantic Cobia Methods Workshop will be held at Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Arena, 1200 Hurricane Alley Way, Raleigh, North Carolina, as part of the benchmark stock assessment process. This workshop will focus on evaluating an update to the existing model or alternative modeling strategies if warranted by data limitations. The Commission’s stock assessment process and meetings are open to the public, with the exception of discussions of confidential data, when the public will be asked to leave the room. Time may be allotted for public comment at the discretion of the Stock Assessment Subcommittee Chair but may also be limited to keep the workshop on schedule.
