Meeting Information

The Atlantic coastal states of Maryland through Florida have scheduled hearings to gather public input on Draft Addendum II to Amendment 2 to the Interstate Fishery Management Plan for Red Drum, which considers several changes to the management programs in the southern (South Carolina to Florida) and northern (New Jersey to North Carolina) regions in response to the findings of the 2024 Red Drum Benchmark Stock Assessment and Peer Review Report.

Regardless of where any hybrid hearing is being conducted, all are welcome to participate in either the virtual or hybrid hearing.

This in-person hearing on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, is for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and will be held at Sapelo Saltwater Fishing Club, 3576 Old Shellman Rd, Townsend, GA.

For those who cannot attend any in-person or virtual hearings, the Commission will also post a recording of the hearing presentation on the Commission’s YouTube channel so that stakeholders may watch the presentation and submit comment at any time during the comment process.
