GOM/GBK stock information, which describes ocean currents and larval supply patterns; investigating stock connectivity; identifying changes in the size distribution of egg‐bearing females; plotting a stock recruit relationship; investigating the potential standardization of biological management measures; develop a traffic light analysis; and identifying research holes and data gaps. The TC also investigated habitat availability for recruitment.

In an effort to estimate potential impacts to the lobster and Jonah crab fisheries, the Technical Committee (TC) conducted two analyses, one which estimates impacts to the offshore fleet which fishes in and around the canyons, and another which estimates impacts to the Maine lobster fleet which fishes around Mount Desert Rock and Outer Schoodic Ridge.

The TC, PDT and SAS held a joint conference call to discuss the technical methods and the results of the harvest reduction and spawning stock biomass projection analysis; a Board task assigned at the October meeting. the Board directed the Technical Committee to investigate the impacts of a number of variables to shed light on the large differences between actual harvest and those estimated for the ocean and Bay recreational fisheries. Enclosed is the Technical Committee report evaluating the performance of Addendum IV regulatory measures in 2015.
